FLORIDA ATLANTIC VS WISCONSIN, live stream 2017. Wisconsin Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Florida Atlantic
Florida Atlantic is one of the few college football programs in Florida that will actually get to play this weekend. Hurricane Irma canceled quite a few of the games played in Week 2. The Badgers were penalized six times for 38 yards in the first half of the opener and finished with nine penalties for 73 yards. Penalties for blocking in the back in the opening quarter forced UW to start drives from its 4 and 9, respectively. The Badgers punted both times. However, since the Owls are traveling to Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, WI, for this game, they’ll actually get to play.
This is one of the first matchups to kickoff on Sep. 9. Kiffin is always a fun coach to watch and should provide some high-level entertainment, even if the Owls lose by a lot. We could also see former “Last Chance U” quarterback De’Andre Johnson get some reps. If Florida Atlantic is down by a few scores, they should give the backups some playing time. The Owls would be a big underdog either way. And, like last week, the prognosticators from around the web are firmly in Wisconsin’s corner.
Wisconsin had a much better Week 1 than Florida Atlantic. The Badgers defeated the Utah State Aggies, 59-10, behind a big effort from quarterback Alex Hornibrook. Utah State and Florida Atlantic should pose around the same challenge for Wisconsin. Quarterbacks Jake Coker and Cooper Bateman combined to complete 22 of 29 passes and tailbacks Derrick Henry (13-147-3 TDs) and Kenyan Drake (10-77-1) combined to rush for 224 yards and four touchdowns on just 23 carries.
